What endings did everyone get?

I've just spent the whole day playing the game- have just finished it and boy, do my eyes hurt!! lol talk about addictive...anyway, i'm a little pissed that in my ending ethan died...:( cant really be arsed to replay the level lol but yeah:

ETHAN: DIED- shot to death by cops
MADISON: SURVIVED- published her book 'heavy rain', creeped out by some guy called vincent...and she's like totally sad that ethan died.
SHAUN: SURVIVED - tho understandably gutted that his dad died...we see him crying over his grave, and walking away with his mum.
SHELBY: DIED- got pushed into that meat grinder thing by norman...
LAUREN- DIED- drowned in the car
NORMAN: SURVIVED- kicked the drug habit, tho got invaded by toy computer tanks... :s

I really didnt want ethan to die, but its annoying because when i was playing as Madison and trying to press 'R2' on her motorbike it wasnt even working!! So annoying!! and i wish that lauren had lived- (the same thing with the controls not working happened in the car)..

aside from that -thought it was a really immersing imaginative game! if not a little scary at some points- esp when madison has to escape from the crazed doctor with the drill... that really had me hiding behind the cusion! lol

and did anyone find that origami folding paper instructions, whilst the game was installing, bloody confusing??!! Half way through i forgot what i was supposed to be folding! I thought i was s'posed to be doing one of those things that kids play with, 'psychic' questions and answers etc... lol no wonder i messed up!!

well, i'm now gonna go and make use of this sunny day outside, makes a change from all that rain!! :)

Well, at this point, I've had many endings, but the one that sticks with me most will always be my first ending, so that's the one I'll go with. I quite liked my ending. Here goes:

ETHAN: SURVIVED- Though he was arrested and resultingly didn't make it to the warehouse, his name was eventually cleared and he was reunited with Shaun
MADISON: DIED- jumped out the window in Shelby's apartment and pancaked on the sidewalk.
SHAUN: SURVIVED- saved by Jayden and happily reunited with his family.
SHELBY: DIED- fell into the grinder whilst fighting Jayden.
LAUREN: DIED- drowned in the car. I pushed the button I thought would save Lauren and ended up escaping without her instead. Oh well...
JAYDEN: SURVIVED- Ended up being the only one to make it to the warehouse, single-handedly saved Shaun and killed Shelby. Ended up on a talk show, quit his drug habit and hallucinated tanks on his desk. :)

So in short, my epilogues were: Innocent, Dead Heroine, Case Closed, and Origami's Grave. I didn't really give a rat's patootie about Madison, and Shelby was evil and thus deserved to die. I LOVED Jayden, and I was really pulling for Ethan to win, so all told... I quite liked my ending. :)

Man, I got such a depressing ending compared to y'all:

ETHAN: DIED - shot to death by the cops
MADISON: DIED - jumped out the window in Scott's apartment thinking she could make it
SHAUN: SURVIVED - got the ending with him crying on Ethan's grave with his mum
SHELBY: DIED - shot by Ethan in the warehouse
LAUREN: DIED
NORMAN: DIED - car compactor at Mad Jack's

Thank goodness my subsequent playthroughs of Mad Jack-the end had better endings. >.>

Jekyll: ...Oh crap.

I'm sure this is impossible. If you let Norman survive, Ethan carries his son to the door and the screen fades to black before he opens it. For Ethan to die at the hands of the cops, he has to be the only one to make it out of the warehouse (Shelby doesn't count.)

Unless Madison survives too, yes? If she survives and makes it to the warehouse but fails to get through the police barricade to warn Ethan that they're there, Ethan dies, yes?

I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine this to be the case. I don't know if I've played it so that Madison is kept from warning Ethan but Jayden survives the fight with Shelby.

ETHAN: SURVIVED - Got the ending where he makes it to the warehouse and frees Shaun but is then shot by Shelby. He survives and ultimately kills Shelby after he chases Madison to the top of the crane. There is then a scene of Madison, Shaun and Ethan looking at an apartment together.
MADISON: SURVIVED - See above
SHAUN: SURVIVED - See above
SHELBY: DIED - shot by Ethan on top of the crane
LAUREN: SURVIVED - Spat on Shelby's grave....
JAYDEN: DIED - Drug overdose just as he discovered Blake's involvement.
BLAKE: SURVIVED - Inherited Jayden's ARI Glasses and is faced with a virtual Jayden when he puts them on.

I was disappointed Jayden died as he was usually the most fun to play as and the most interesting character (IMO).

Just played through where everyone makes it to the warehouse, I had Madison fail to get through the police barricade, Jayden survive the fight against Shelby, and Ethan save Shaun... and Ethan got shot by the police. So the OP's ending is possible. It only cuts to Ethan going out with Shaun and it fading to black without mention of the police if it's just Ethan and Jayden who make it to the end. If Madison arrives as well, Ethan will die if she doesn't make it through, regardless of whether or not Jayden survives the fight against Shelby. Because even if Jayden survives the fight against Shelby, he won't make it down from the conveyor belt in time to warn Ethan of the police. He doesn't really seem to be aware that they're there, anyway.

I just finished the game for the first time and got (I believe) the best possible ending, everyone but Scotty Shelby survived and didn't have to get my hero's hands dirty, Ethan didn't kill the dealer, Shelby didn't kill Gordi's father (Shelby was a hero then) and even tried to help Shelby with Norman in the end... although that bas***rd tried to kill me right after that.

I will play it again; but now I'll make sure that Shelby doesn't make it 'til the end... that piece of xit managed to fool me the first time.

Nice twist though...

I'm sorry to tell you this, but that's one part of the game you have no control over. Scott will survive until the last chapter, regardless of how badly you mess up the QTE's.

Got the happy ending I suppose

Ethan hanged in jail.
Lauren drowned.
Madison killed and drilled.
Jayden killed by Mad Jack.

Shelby, my favourite character, survived.

Exactly the same as me. And I thought this ending sucked, it was basically a failure on practically all parts. So I'm playing it again.

Fairly happy. Ethan, Madison and Norman all live. Lauren died though. Ethan saved Shaun and went on to live with Madison and Shaun, and Norman resigned the FBI.

ETHAN, MADISON, and SHAUN: SURVIVED - the 3 of them moved into an apartment together.
SHELBY: DEAD- I allowed Norman to let Shelby fall into the grinder.
LAUREN- SURVIVED - went to Shelby's grave at the end, talked about having so much contempt for him and asking if he thought about her son while he was holding her, then she spit on his grave.
NORMAN: SURVIVED- went on TV, kicked the drug habit, got invaded by toy computer tanks, lol.

I activated most of the endings but I just couldn't let Shaun die.
Didn't really want to see that.

Another thing I didn't do was have Ethan drink the poison. What happens if he does? Does it really kill him or was it a bluff?

Bluff! He looks at his watch as it counts down to zero and says his last words to Shaun, but then it turns out he wasn't poisoned. What happened when Ethan didn't drink the poison in yours? Did they give him the address anyway or did Ethan's story just end there?

I have to say I was extremely happy with my endings. Everyone survived except Shelby and everyone seemed happy enough save for Lauren who says she'll never forgive Shelby for what he did. For such a dark and depressing game, I wasn't expecting things to turn out quite so happy. Glad they did though. Gives me a nice sense of closure. :-)

If Ethan doesn't drink the poison the game goes on, he doesn't get the clue so it just takes him a little longer to find Shaun.
That is if you keep him out of jail.

ETHAN: SURVIVED- lived happily ever after with madison and shaun
MADISON: SURVIVED- lived happily ever after with ethan and shaun
SHAUN: SURVIVED - saved by ethan and madison at the end
SHELBY: DIED- fell off the top of a ledge or something at the end after being shot by ethan twice
LAUREN- DIED- drowned in the car (seems she dies inevitably unfortunately)
NORMAN: DIED- while using ARI towards the end, blood came down his face and he died pretty brtually i suppose caused by the 'mystery' drug he was taking

I don't remember Lauren ever being of one the characters that you can control. Therefore her name should technically be removed from this list. Also, it seems like she dies automatically regardless of anything you do. So that leaves 5 characters. All have the potential to survive at the end except Scott Shelby because obviously he has to die for you to beat the game. I'm curious though how the ending would have been if I didn't make Agent Norman use drugs, thus how it would end with Ethan, Madison, and Norman all alive trying to find/kill Shelby. Oh well, maybe I'll go back to play the game again.

I'm curious though how the ending would have been if I didn't make Agent Norman use drugs

I actually never stopped Norman taking the drugs (the first time it asked me I had him take them, then the second time I was too slow to react so he just took them automatically) yet he never died from taking the drug. He had the blood running down his face near the end when he was using the ARI glasses, but when he took the glasses off, the blood was gone! This confused me massively. In my game, he died from falling into the meat grinder after Shelby wacked him round the head with a hammer of some sort.

That's because Triptocane wasn't the issue. ARI itself messed with him.

LAUREN- Survives
NORMAN: Survives

Basically, from the sound of it, it seems like I got the best possible ending. Asides from Shelby, everyone survived and for the most part, seemed happy. I'm going to play it again and go for a darker ending to amuse myself.
