Can you really forgive the game its plotholes?

Ok, so any good story may have a flaw or two in its plot. We can accept this if we get a good story in return, but in this case it's plotholes of Star Wars-galactic proportions. The youtube channel Gaming Sins, which is a knockoff of Cinema Sins, points out a number of issues, my favourites being:

- Shaun not dying from hypotermia or exhaustion/drowning after short time
- Madison's knowledge of Scott (when the mother mentions him)
- Madison's knowledge of Jayden (she can call him up)
- And above all, Scott's inner dialouge and ongoing activity of walking around solving the origami case.

It make's no friggin sense! He is the killer! Of course it made sense in Memento, since the main character throughout the movie thinks he is onto something, most of the time being unaware that there is no crime to solve, due to his anterograde amnesia. But Scott has a normal functioning brain. There is simply no justification for this plot device. It is not red herrings or skillfull story telling, it's an outright lie.

Do you think the story still checks out?

- Madison's knowledge of Jayden (she can call him up)

This part bothered me the most. I realize it was a secondary way to get Jayden to the end because they figured most people wouldn't be able to solve the crime on the first go without looking up how to do it. lol. But they should have at least given the two characters a scene where they meet beforehand.

Did you get the perfect crime trophy? It explains a little bit more as to why Shelby was acting like a PI. He was going around collecting all of the evidence against him under the guise of a PI.

There is a scene previously where we see that Jayden already knows who is Madison. He finds Madison's prints in Paco's office, and says "oh, Madison has been here? She's a journalist" or something.

Regarding the explanation on why Shelby was acting like a PI, we see this also in the "good/normal" path.
