This is what the movie should have been!

As a big Jonah Hex fan, I was deeply saddened by how awful the movie was; both in terms of accurately representing the comics and character, and in regards to it just being a bad movie. That said, however, this little short is simply amazing. Keeps with the tone of Jonah Hex, doesn't do anything outlandish to try and make it more appealing... it's just a good story with good animation and action.

The only problem I have with it is how short it is.

Agreed, the live action moveie should be called "JINO: Jonah In Name Only". I'm glad he got a good little animate movie made for just him. Although his cameos in Batman: The Animated Series and Justice Leauge were pretty good too.

Agreed, wholeheartedly. I was a bit sad when I had heard that Thomas Jane wasn't cast for a live-action Hex, but now I'm glad he just dodged that bullet altogether.

The only thing that gave me pause on this short was the art style; it just seemed to conflict a bit with the whole Western backdrop. Worked by the end of it for me, though... also, the score was awesome. I really dug the music.

I said the exact same thing at first. I mean, I was happy to be getting a Jonah Hex cartoon at ALL, so I wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth, but yeah, I got used to it quickly. Ideally I would've preferred a more matching style, but I understand that that kind of animation is really inexpensive for companies AND they do tend to have a very particular sense of detail that a lot of American cartoons lack. So, all-in-all, no complaints.
