I adore Paul G and the he played this part wonderfully.. brilliant script, brilliant cast and really really great story.. loved, loved, loved it... just needed to share that!

Yeah, this is one of those little known, hidden gems you stumble across on cable sometimes. Paul Giamatti is always good and his role in this film is an interesting one. This is really an uplifting film, with a message that there are truely good, loving (if not perfect) people in the world. And that those kind of people can change the life of a troubled young person. Lovely little film.

I agree! I love stumbling onto gems like this, I just happened to see it on my HBO schedule last night. I gave it a try because of the PG in the lead. So glad I did. It reminded my of another great gem I watched on Sundance a few months ago... Big Fan starring Patton Oswalt. Never heard of it, gave it a go and really enjoyed it. A different tone than this film but similar in that it is character driven and a great, simple story.

Yes for sure a nice little gem....small film small cast but sweet.
