I hear he was very good in Get Rich or Die Trying. This could have been great if he had taken some acting classes. It says the budget us $7,000,000 (estimated). Scheduled to release in 2012. Why did it go to to TV?

I thought it was pretty good and I was surprised by some of the performances. It could've been better if they had re-edited and polished it for a theatrical release.
