Since 5.7 is very nearly the exact middle of the scale, do you mean it should be rated higher or lower?

Agreed. Not Oscar worthy acting...but the performances are solid and the story is really good. It keeps you intrigued to the last frame. I'd say it's more like near 7

It was a good movie, I give it a 7.5, for Christ's sake. 5.7 it's way too low.

Are you surprised by the score ? I am. People on this site in my opinion don't know how to rank many movies correctly but then again we all have our own way we rate them.

For me a movie that is decent to watch and is not flawed I give 7s whereas someone else might give those movies a 6 or even a 5. As for the great films in terms of my ratings I give them anywhere from an 8 to a 10 and I think I do a good job with that.

Anyway my point is I think I rate movies differently than most people but yes I am in agreement with DrankyDrank that for this movie it was a decent movie, that is watchable, has a story that has nothing wrong with it and the acting is perfect so I don't see how it could rate so poorly. It is not just an average film that should be rated in the 5s but it sure as heck isn't something totally new and so it can't rate as an 8 or higher.
