i'm pretty excited to see it...how bout anyone else?

Im so very excited.My daughter is in this film and I watched her on some of the days she filmed..Its going to be a good movie!!

I'm pretty excited about it. I just saw the trailer this evening.
I'm an English teacher myself. The film has excellent actors and I agree with what someone else said about Mr. Orton being a great actor. Pro wrestlers have to be! I am going to look for some way to show this in my classes next year.

I love Ed Harris, and I'll probably see it if the reviews are halfway decent, but honestly, the trailer looks gagworthy. Just too much schmaltz and uplift in a few short minutes to suit my taste.

I love this kind of movies! I'm a teacher of English too and a huge fan of uplifting, inspirational coming-of-age movies with lessons to learn and share. I can't wait to see it. Any other movies like this you would recommend (except 'Dangerous Minds')?

The rumor is that Ed Harris' character is *gasp* homosexual.

I'd also recommend "Stand and Deliver", inspired by the true story of the late Jaime Escalante, the man who taught calculus to inner city high school kids in Los Angeles, earning them college credit.
