This film had so much potential. I waited for Effie to find her passions and at least a hobby, or to kiss the man she chose in the end. I'm not asking for Lady Chatterley's Lover sex scenes, but something. Especially when they were in the middle of nowhere Scotland! This was painfully boring, and I am a fan of period piece films.
