John Ruskin is loathsome

I liked the film very much. Despite Effie's husband John Ruskin being unimaginably screwed up/sick psychologically, despite his own problems being literally unbelievable in every sense, I developed a deep loathing of him thanks to a film which is deft on all levels, from character development to acting.
