Things that made you feel old but proud to have rocked the 90s

1. The music in the Reunion Party was just fantastic. I've been wanting to have a 90s party for ages now. The party music was just great, not like the stupid stuff they play today. When Poison started to play I just wanted to be in that reunion and dance the floor off.

2. Kids today are stupid, apart from girls being even sluttier and with zero self-esteem, the other references like Twilight, Justin Bieber, or the fact that those highschool kids actually owned jetskies. I mean wtf, how f uu cked is that.

3. Spice Girls are Classic Rock!!!

4. Stifler trying the "My car broke down, can I call the AAA" move because there were no cellphones in the 90s.

5. Stalking your ex on facebook. (That is just pathetic)

What do you mean there were no cell phones in the 90's???

Just because they were invented doesn't mean that they were massively produced. A few people had them. The 90s was more with beepers. In the 2000s everyone started to have one, even though they were still gigantic.

In the 90s many families would have one cell phone, starting around 1994 or so. It wasn't until the early 2000s that every member of a family had a cell phone. My dad bought a cell phone in 1994, and I thought it was really cool at that time our family had a cell phone, as before that only rich people had mobile phones. I was finishing up high school in 1994 and neither I nor my father could afford another one at that time. I got my first cell phone in 1998, but I was already 22 at that point. Yes others are right, through most of the 90s people communicated with beepers and pay phones. If you wanted privacy in your phone calls from your parents during the 80s and most of the 90s, you begged your folks to add a second line to the house.

So it blew me away when a few years later around 2002, I ran into this 14 year old kid that had a cell phone that his parents bought him. It was a culture shock to me in 2002 that a 14 year old kid had a cell phone when I bought my first at age 22 in 1998. 11 years later, it's very common and a complete after thought for people to buy their kids cell phones. Now I wasn't a kid when AP came out in 1999 like most of you, but it was the last high school movie I could still connect with and find hilarious. Some of the actors were older then me too. Every high school themed movie after this I just felt way too old for and the landscape had changed from when I grew up anyway.

i bought my first mobile phone (im european, we dont say cellphone!) for my 18th birthday in 1999. It cost me £80 and it was the most basic mobile phone ever - the Phillips Savvy. I remember being so proud of having my own phone and as the year rolled on, more of my friends had the same phone (there was only 1 make of phone that was affordable!). I of course now have an iphone but I wish I could go back to a simpler time!

No power in the verse can stop me

I've got a mobile phone as a present when I was 15 and it was in 1997. It was definitely the time when everyone seemed to have a mobile phone. This is probably also quite region specific. I live in Finland (and consider USA to be pretty technologically backwards).
My first mobile phone was a Nokia 3210.

the fact that twilight and justin bieber were named in the movie killed me, it just killed me.
i hate how awful and stupid our pop culture and our society have become. i hate that Kim Kardashian is a household name and even worshiped by some, i hate that jersey shore even exists and i hate that mtv still exists.

it just bothers me that they even mentioned those 2 things in the movie
the 90s and 80s had cheesy stupid stuff but not as stupid as now, and thats not nostalgia talking
