Couldn't stop laughing during the kids' initial nits announcement

I didn't start watching this wonderful drama expecting laughs, but I was guffawing when the kids, grinning ear to ear, told Dave they had nits. Evie said, "we can feed them lettuce," to which Dave replied, "You can't keep nits." Heh, they wanted to keep them as pets--precious!
