Best teen movies of all time?

This doesn't look as bad as HSM, but this still looks pretty predictable and unoriginal. I think its impossible to make a truly honest movie about 18 year olds in high school if its only PG and aimed at 12 year old Disney channel fans. It's possible the movie may be PG13, but from the looks of the marketing I think it could actually be rated G. Haha and we all know not every teenager in high school acts and behaves like a perfectly manufactured character which Disney deems appropriate to be shown on screen. Of course there are gonna be a few adult moments but knowing disney, its gonna be really toned down. These are the teen movies I personally think are the best:

Adventureland
Dazed and Confused
Ghost World
The Breakfast Club
American Graffiti
Freaks and Geeks (TV show)

We can become cops, or criminals. But when you're facing a loaded gun, what's the difference?
