Not what I was hoping for

This movie is not--repeat, NOT--based on the novel "Prom", by Laurie Halse Anderson.

"Eighteen-year-old Ash wants nothing to do with senior prom, but when disaster strikes and her desperate friend, Nat, needs her help to get it back on track, Ash's involvement transforms her life."

This was a really great, funny book and would have made a great movie; much better than anything Hollywood has to offer. Check your local library and dare to compare!
