This doesn't look like its usual corny, dumbed-down family fluff.....it actually looks like it could be an honest coming-of-age film. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

It's a step up from "High School Musical," but it's still... not good at all...
sharematuring? That depends, if you're talking about their live action division? Unlikely. Yes they have their broad appeal tent pole film like Tron and Pirates, but Prom looks as awful and unrealistic as High School Musical. Everyone is cool and attractive... there are no dorks, overweight, gay or any kind of ... well you know. It's Hollywood's version of Prom. And there is absolutely nothing mature about that.
Disney's only mature movies are strangely enough their animated feature. Pixar or otherwise. They're layered and there's more to them than meets the eye. This prom crap? Nope. It needs to go away.
Rolo looked pretty dorky to me as did the guy dating the asian chick?
