My ideas for couples for Victorious that i wanted to see

Here is my personal ideas for couples
1)Trina with Andre. Something that not many thing but it actually might work.
2)Trina with Beck. I prefer beck with Trina rather than jade also this would be funny.
3)Cat with Robbie. This would had been the perfect couple. same that we didn't see it.
4)Tori with Jade. I know that many will disagree with this but i personaly find that Tori and jade had the best chemistry together from any other possibly couple. Also i believe that only that maters in a relationship is love and happiness between the 2 people that are in love.
What do you think?

anyone?

reply

Trina and Beck
and Catorade (Cat/Tori/Jade in a relationship.
Andre has no problem finding someone and Robbie should date Sinjin's sister Courntey.

Or imagine if Tori and Trina are in love like the Cersei Lannister and Jaime Lannister in the games of thrones and the mother catches her daughters naked doing lesbian sex.

reply

That was a lot more common in those times though. It still happens but eh.

reply

In those times? The Game of Thrones books are not historical books, it is a fantasy world of its own, they are dressed like the 15th/16th century but there's no indication that the Game of Thrones world exists in any historical time frame of our world.

4)Tori with Jade. I know that many will disagree with this

Nearly every Victorious fan I know ships Tori + Jade aka Jori lol. Even Dan had a lot of suggestive Jori moments in the show that would go over kids' heads xD

It's time to pay the piper. He's gonna reap what he sowed, and it sure ain't corn. Or wheat.

reply

5) Jade with Cat. There is a great chemistry between them.

reply

I don't think that Jade would stand Cat stupidity for too long.

reply

Yes. She will. If not you have not noticed they are the SECOND greatest shippings in Victorious. While Cat can be ditzy, Jade always have been hanging around with her all the time (more than with the rest) and likes and cares for her. There is a great possibility that Cat has a crush on Jade and it is mutual. Why else would Jade be less mean to her than the rest? If you know what I mean.

reply

Tori with Andre. They seemed real close throughout the series.

No this is to predictable and Andre had no chemistry with Tory( he had no chemistry with the rest of the cast anyway) and this would had been forced rather natural, personally i think that Trina with Andre is better.

I disagree.I think Tori and Andre had the best chemistry of the entire cast followed by Tori and Beck.I think the writers agree thats why they gave Tori and Andre so much screen time and stories together.I saw no chemistry with Andre and Trina.

reply

I also think Tori and Andre had great chemistry, but I also think they were afraid to put together a bi-racial couple.

I agree.Since Victoria is Puerto Rican I thought they could have pulled it off without it being too taboo though.

Wouldn't be the first time. Veronica Mars steered clear of any kind of hint for Wallace/Veronica because it was inter-racial. Instead they went with the white bread logan/veronica pairing and the ultra-white bread (even though I prefer him to Logan) Piz/Veronica.

The lack of truly following through on the romantic angles in Victorious & iCarly really puts a dampner on their 'nostalgia' value.

If you think back to Lizzie McGuire, everyone thinks about Gordo/Lizzie. Same with Neds School Guide with Ned/Moze, along with various other shows (Kim Possible, and moving from the kids tv area, Friends, Cheers, Futurama), where having a proper romance adds to the show.

Instead Victorious' writers chickended out on going through with the Tori/Beck story that had been setup from day one, never did the obvious secondary ship in Andre/Tori, and never really did anything effective with Cat/Robbie.

As for iCarly well it did get the atrocious Seddie arc, but that ended with no pairing, and it pretty much being forgotten, and then we had a very feather touch Creddie endgame (with all of two scenes in the last series about it).

Come out with your hands up, we have you partially surrounded!

For some reason I don't see a real taboo about inter-racial romance being portrayed on a YA show these days, and it would be esp ironic here because the main character was of mixed heritage. Obv there have been inter-racial families portrayed before, most notably on Wizards of Waverly Place. However, I guess that sort of unspoken hesitation to portray an inter-racial couple may still be prevelant... or perhaps it just never came to fruition because of lack of interest? Interesting enough Tori was almost completely unattached throughout the show- there were some brief encounters, a couple episode-long plots involving romantic seeking, a momentary actual "romance" that turned out to be a scam, then of course those breif but anti-climactic encounters with Beck, all in all Im not sure if it was an intentional attempt to portray a Nick heroine who wasn't completely obsessed with boys or popularity status or was just by accident. Ironically enough there seemed to be only one official couple on the show (Cat and Robbie were clearly infatuated but just danced around each other for the whole show) despite a lot of speculation and romantic shipping proposals. I guess potential pairs are always more interesting to think and discuss about then to actually watch on screen (and it's not like we were ever going to see the most obvious pairing of them all...).

I'd say having a black guy with a white or almost white-latina chick is far more intimidating for execs than having a latina with a white guy.

reply

Beck is half-Indian, he's not exactly a White guy.

reply

Beck can pass for white. Most people I know or internet comments I've read don't know he is half Indian until they are told.

While Hollywood is quite liberal they aren't that liberal when pairing white female tv or movie stars with black guys.

reply

That shouldn't be a liberal thing, it's like a same sex couple isn't mature content. We are people and it's almost as wrong to give in and bend to those conservative morons than believing what they do.

That's why I'm a huge fan of Cherrio's... They kept that video with the interracial couple even after the hate they got, and then told them to fist theirselves by making a second video.

Sorry, but there is no need for those people. I 100% support the @killhomophobes movement...

reply

Also the great thing about conservatives is they die off... and the next generation is more liberal than the last. Liberals on the other hand grow more liberal. That's because conservative, racist, and homophobes ideas are 100% taught.

reply

Yeah, Avan isn't a white guy.

reply

Was not Matt Jewish or something? At least his character Robbie in Victorious was.

I disagree again.I think Andre had great chemistry with all of the cast. With the exception of Tori I think Beck was the one who had little chemistry with the cast.
