Can anyone name a worse movie?

I'm someone who likes horror that most people would consider absolute *beep* but this went too far. Words cannot even describe how awful this movie is. It all started when the best friend was introduced. Then got worse as he insisted on a ride home, had no money to pay a cab, no one had money for his cab, he has to get a pizza, the only place open only takes cash, his card doesn't work, he gets caught in a trip wire the killer sets, instead of running, his friends decide to drag him to the ATM where they can all be trapped together . . . Perhaps the only satisfying part of this film was seeing him die.

Now, that brings up the question. Why did I keep watching it? Because I read on netflix that the ending was unbelievably awful and I thought it might be funny. While it was unbelievable, it wasn't funny just stupid. I don't even want to get into how dumb it is that the girl just happens to fall and die or that there's no way possible that the main character could have stabbed his friend outside of the box, flooded it, or blocked the door with a car and then crash another car into it; all without leaving the boxed in ATM.

On a side note, do ATMs like this even exist? I live west of Atlanta and have never seen one like it.

I can name a bunch of them

1. Cloned
2. Shadow People
3. Jason X
4. Unrest

That's four that I can think of quickly but ATM isn't even in my top 20, in fact I liked it and thought the acting of the 3 main characters was good.

reply

Seriously? Jason X is a comedy.

reply

So was this. Right?

at least this movie was so laughably bad you could laugh at it.

The Ward is so much worse.

reply

catwoman, nude nuns with big guns, the village, twilight, and a heap more.

Seriously, if you think this is the worst of the worst, you haven't seen many movies, kiddo.

On really romantic evenings of self, I go salsa dancing with my confusion

I'm just gonna throw a few more out there, because this was by no means even close to being the worst movie.

The Graveyard, Nightmare Weekend, Mr. Jingles, The Reaper

"Well...I've seen enough. Come on Charlie, we're going home."

reply

The village? Come on, The Village at least had an ending. This had nothing.

Mr. Mikes Mondo Video. Now that was a bad movie.

reply

For a second I thought you said there was a movie with Catwoman nude with nuns. Needless to say I got my hopes up. Guess I'll just have to keep on looking for that movie, because I think we all know that movie exists.

Napoleon Dynamite. Only movie in my collection I can't actually stand to watch. Also, Doppleganger, with Drew Barrymore is pretty horrible.

reply

I wonder if this rated poorly because people these days can't appreciate an intellectual horror and if it is not a remake of something they don't care. Sorry but people are way off base saying this is a 3 or 4 out of 10 movie. There is so much to like about this movie.

reply

No there isnt

You are a smart individual.

Intellectual horror??? Lol

reply

let me be the third to say: "ha ha ah ha ha ha intellectual horror hahahahaha"
this truly was some of the dumbest *beep* i've seen...
the film not your comment.
it is yet to be proven that you comment is anything other than comedic genius...

"You don't upload an avatar - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You do upload an avatar - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes." (not quite what Morpheus said in The Matrix)
Your posts will stand out a lot more if you upload a custom avatar.like that guy who said the village was a good film..

Amber Alert.

ONLY GOD FORGIVES is the worst movie ever made!!!

reply

I can think of a few all right.
The Ruins
Death by Engagement
Disaster Movie
Epic Movie
Meet the Spartans
Red Riding Hood
Beautiful Creature
And plenty more...

It's not the worst movie I've ever seen by far. There was a cool premise and the acting was entirely atrocious. The real problem with it is the abyssal plot holes. If you're going with the "the bad guy planned it all to the T" ending, you definitely have to make sure every detail of your plot holds. Wasn't the case here. The villain's plans relied almost entirely on the protagonists making mistakes the whole time. Not to mention: How the heck would he have planned for them to end up in this particular ATM on this particular day ,at that particular time? Ridiculous.
