Hi.

I have been looking at getting this game as i have been a fan of metal gear solid since the first one was released on ps1 all those years ago (and yes i know that was technically the third one but let's not get picky).

i played through MGS 4 a few months back and thought it was an amazing end to the metal gear legacy.

i am just wondering whether this game has any connection to MGS 4 and if it any way cheapens the ending of the other game as i probably won't play it if it does.

There's a couple connections, but nothing major. The Patriots are mentioned briefly a few times, and Sunny shows up later in the game. That's pretty much the extent of the MGS4 connections. I assume you've played the game by now but if you haven't I hope this helped.
