Anyone seen this movie yet?

Yep. Just watched the DVD. It's very spooky and effective, even though I don't quite understand what happened at the end. I was really hoping others had seen it because I need some theories. :-)

One of the things that makes the movie more mysterious but also a bit hard to figure out is that there's quite a bit of untranslated Japanese. In one key scene, the characters visit a shrine, and the camera lingers portentously on signs that the Japanese-American character can't quite understand because she speaks little Japanese. Later on, there are several short conversations between two secondary characters about one of the main characters in unsubtitled Japanese. I enjoyed the effect, which not only added to the mystery but mimicked the experience of the main characters, who speak little or no Japanese, but it did leave me wondering what I missed.
