Oak Fairy

Did his very minor storyline actually have any bearing on the main plotline? I can only remember him in two parts - the video footage at the very beginning - and the radio report towards the end when it was mentioned he'd fallen out of the tree, couldn't actually fly, and was now hospitalized with injuries. Was there anything else?

After seeing the prequel, where Daniel Bruhl gave such a hilariously memorable performance as a terrorist "fairy," I thought he'd reprise his role in this film. No such luck.

Given his role in "2 Days in Paris," I thought he might appear again as an adviser to Mingus, but that role seems to have been dealt to the cardboard cutout of Obama. :(

Yeah, I don't know why they brought him back if he had no involvement in the main story. I guess he serves as a loose tie-in to what happened in Paris.
