Why oh why would Chris Rock do a film like this??? He is NOT the right guy to be a ferked up middle aged guy with a dysfunctional family from France, like an older ferked up Woody Allen IS!
Chris Rock, if you read this.... PLEASE go back to your better stuff, even if Jackie has to prop you up, it would be better than this self pretentious garbage!

There's nothing wrong with Chris Rock taking a chance and going against type. He handled his role very well in this film. Personally, I loved it,
If you can't be good, at least be good at it!
i'm a huge fan of chris's stand up and i thought he did a really good job as mingus. i hope he continues to surprise us in the future.
