Wrestlemania 26 matches- greatest card in recent time?
This year seems to be totaly action packed with exellent matches!
1. Undertaker Vs. Shawn Michaels (no DQ, No count out.)
Do I really need to explain while this will be so epic? a rematch of last years match of the year, who knows, maybe they will exeed the expectations and make it even better this year.
2. Edge Vs. Chris Jericho - World heavyweight championship
This match has been building since june last year, two of smackdowns greatest wrestlers taking on each other, now, the buildup so far has been terrible! the edge spear chants is just, awkwardly bad, and they Make Chris Jericho look like a weak champion, oh well, 2 weeks left, they need to have chris jericho win some singles matches fair and square if he is gonna look strong heading into the match, Edge already looks strong as hell, but the champion should also look like a *beep* behemoth.
3. Batista Vs. John Cena - WWE Championship.
If it wasent for the fact that Batista heel persona is *beep* great, I would not watch this match at all, I love how they make him look like the big, bad, jealous, badguy, and the fact that hes been on a rampage since stealing the title, now we all know Cena will win( god forbid! ) but hopefully they'll make batista go strong. they buildup is just exellent so far, Batista keep attack Cena from behind, and destroying infront of our very eyes, very good!.
4. Triple H Vs. Shaemus.
Why the hell not? Old school Vs. new school, to show who really is the superior one, this would undoubtfully be Shaemus's final test to see if he belong with the stars, now Triple H is my favorite old school guy, Shaemus is my new favorite rising star, but so far, the buildup hasen't been that good, sure, the promo on RAW last week(march 8th) was very good, well done, 2 weeks to go le'ts hope the buildup keeps getting big. ( I wonder if this will get the Triple H haters to be quiet about him always beeing in the main event, or are they gunna whine cause Orton is not? only time will tell!)
Speaking of Orton.. who knows what they'll do with the Legacy?
5. Randy Orton Vs. Cody Rhodes Vs. Ted DiBiase - triple threat
well, now its finally determined, but a triple threat? I don't really know why, but so far the buildup has been great, with teddy pinning Orton in the chamber, Rhodes costing Orton the title chance at the rumble, and with the Orton face turn? oh well, RAW tonight, guess we'll find out then.
6. CM Punk Vs. Rey Mysterio - Street fight.
This im really exited for! CM punk is almost as good as Chris jericho when it comes to drawing heat, just when I thought he coulden't be badder, this past smackdown, singing to rey's daughter, Very well done! CM punks straight edge messiah persona is just great, and rey must be furious after last weeks segment with punk. this is now Official!
7. Bret Hart Vs. Vince McMahon.
Im all down for seeing them solve this issue they have in the ring, But this will be just like watching Hulk Hogan and Ric flair wrestle agein - embarassing! well, maybe not THAT bad but you catch my drift?
im sure Bret Hart and Vince are in way better shape than them other two guys.
but, since this issue resembles their real life fight about the montreal screwjob, so many years ago, Im sure many old school fans will get happy by watching Bret put vince in the sharpshooter. The build up was great, untill recent weeks, they need to amp it up just a litle bit!
8. ShowMiz Vs. John Morrison & R-Truth - WWE Unified tag team Championship match.
I honestly don't care about this, since now the tag team titles are back into meaning NOTHING; Chris Jericho's hard work last year, back in the drain, that's what you get for pairing someone with the Miz, now no dissrespect, I know he's awesome, but not the same caliber as the other top guys, I guess He'll be that later, but now's not the time. so far the buildup has sucked, it will probably be a mediocre match; pity!
9. Money in the bank ladder match.
Christian - I do think he deserves better, but he made history during wrestlemania's TLC match, I think he will entertain our asses to the max!
MVP - They should just turn him heel agein, so he can get pushed! I don't know what he would do in this ladder match, do you?
Evan Bourne - YES! finally someone giving him an oppurtunity to shine!
Kane - why the hell not? the big red monster always amuses me! even though everyone agrees on me saying that he deserves ALOT better!
Matt Hardy - The GOOD hardy...who unfortunetly lost all charisma( and gained some fat instead ) oh well, we'll see what he does, he also has created history in Ladder matches.
Shelton Benjamin - he must win! even though I don't like the guy i can't deny what he deserves.
Jack Swagger - Im a huge swagger fan, but I have NO IDEA what he's gunna do in that ladder match, maybe put a gutwrench powerbomb on kane throug ha ladder? ( wishfull thinking)
Dolph Ziggler - one of the hottest rising stars of 2009, but everyone has already forgotten about.
Drew Mcintyre - who the hell is he?
So far, this matchup hasent had any buildup at all, no promos, no tag team matches, no over the tope rope challenges, boring! crank it up I say!
the card has some minor flaws, but still, looks like a DAMN good card to me!
