It was a Swedish movie studio with an entirely Swedish cast and the "bad" guys communicated almost completely in Swedish.. but it was set in Minneapolis?
I hope someone can explain!
EDIT: I just noticed the other thread pointing out the same thing, still bizarre though.
Possible explanations:
1. Minnesota where the place where many Swedish immigrants moved during the 1800's. Many people there are related to those swedes. They might be remnants of a tribe of crazy swedes who started to live in the mountains.
2. The filmmakers wanted the villians to speak a gatural tounge, and they picked Swedish.
3. The filmmakers are as retarded as the hillbilly villians.

I think that answer nr. 1 is the most realistic, there is approxmently 50 000 Americans who has Swedish as their first language and speaks Swedish to eachothers, the most of those lives in Minnesota, kind of like the French speaking Cajuns in Louisiana. As these people was supposed to be uneductated hillbillies, they probably never went to school and learnt English.
