I wonder if the company they worked for had a hand in the downing of the plane. Before they crash, the plane is having a number of things go wrong with it before they actually go down. And shortly after the survivors get together one of them mentions something about the company wont look for them to save on paying them. kinda weird, eh?

I'm pretty sure that a company would not make much money off of a situation like that.
If the plane goes down, its certainly going to get investigated by the government and FAA and if they turn up any evidence of foul play, that company is in deep S**t. Maybe they could get lucky since the crash happened way out in the wilderness.
Also, wouldn't the back pay that they owed those guys just go to their families or nearest relative? Most of those guys out there were all on their own, but I'm sure they had some family members alive somewhere.
Yeah, I don't that is likely.
