I think I Have the Answer of this Movie

This entire movie, the Alpha male wolf and Liam Neeson are the same person!

If you think about it, at the beginning of the movie, John Ottway (Liam) is telling us how
he regrets all the things he's had to do (suggesting people and wolves he has killed in his lifetime). All those people who were with him from the plane died one by one. Those were people he killed. They even said it, too. "You're getting us all killed!"

And he's looking at all the wallets at the end, all the people who died or that he killed, and then he becomes one with the alpha wolf (which is really himself) and goes off into death (when he shot himself with the rifle in his mouth at the beginning of the movie).

Now say thank you.

A wolf isn't a person.

Why would he want to help them and kill them at the same time? He was clearly a good guy. Are you implying he's like bipolar and he turns into a wolfman and kills people from hypothermia or something? Did he rip the guys apart with his jaws and claws?

Rubbish. This film was told from the point of view of the crashed plane and all the people were really trees and the the wolves were a bunch of drunk loggers. The crashed plane was having a near death experience because it had been so badly smashed up in the crash and dreamed all this up, believing itself to be the head-tree. Then it actually died from sap-loss.

Pretty simple really.
