Horror references

What movies/characters did you spot homages to in this short ?

Here's what I noticed:

The Exorcist - little girl with revolving head that spews pea soup on SFX guy
Nosferatu - bald, cloaked vampire that bites SFX guy
Christine - the homicidal, self fixing car

Someone also brought the movie Cast a Deadly Spell to my attention, which features a very similar scene with very sharp money.

- The Zombie could be from any one of the countless zombie movies.
- None of the masks look very familiar to me.
- The Werewolf is definitely from Michael Jackson's Thriller.
- The Doctor could be from a bunch of movies.
- The Scarecrow might be from Batman Begins..... I don't know any other horror movies where Scarecrow looks like that.... but it might be a Wizard of OZ refrence with the axe.
- And King Kong I guess
- The bomb under the diving board is from a movie I can't remember

The music borrowed themes and cues from John Carpenter's horror movies (particularly "Halloween"), Tangerine Dream's score for "Firestarter", and a few other 70s-era horror movies and thrillers.

I thought that the Scarecrow was a homeage to Jason from Friday the 13th part 2. He had more of the look of Jason in the remake though. And We can't forget King Kong.

It also sounds very reminiscent of the soundtracks to George Romero's Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead, even utilizing some of the same instruments.
