I saw it at the Cannes Film Festival and I thought it was fantastic. Definitely one of my favorites of the whole fest. It got a pretty healthy standing ovation at the end, and everyone I was with loved it.

I saw it three times when I was in Montréal this summer - the first time by myself and the second and third times with different people, all of whom loved it (even one of my friends who knew very little French slowly became entranced, eventually giving up on asking me to translate). It's a great film, not as serious and deep as J'ai tué ma mère, but fun all the while with an interesting story and amazing acting, especially from Monia Chokri. It's much more visual as well, relying more on imagery than dialogue. Definitely recommend it, especially if you're already a Dolan fan.

I watched this movie a few days ago and I fell in love with Dolan immediately! It's amazing that he did 2 great films and he's just a little younger than me! I'll be waiting patiently for his next movie...

i'm late to the game, but my view on the story itself -- a VERY young take on young love, the nihilism and self-absorption were so 'out there' it was cringe-worthy at times, probably evoked memories from my own youth! But the director / star is barely out of his teens, he gets more trumped-up emotion than acting out of most of the players. But the film is shot lusciously and ultimately it was entertaining... GREAT to see quebecois artists succeed too!

I have never watched any of Dolan's movies and saw this one at Indie Lisboa. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. is a brilliant movie. Dolan is a real talent and the sountrack is amazing (love The Knife). The actress is really cool and I have to say, Dolan is also a very good actor. I cannot recommend this movie enough.
see clip here (my fav part-love her with the ashtray in the hand...so socially awkward): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roLmFo3rWYc
