I expected more from a slasher movie with Kane Hodder, but honestly, it's just meh. The gore is basically offscreen death scenes of horribly CGI'd blood pouring. The movie also seems kinda unbalanced - for example, there's almost half an hour of basic teenage drama where literally nothing horror-like happens. And since the characters are completely ridiculous, this part almost kills the movie. However, it does pick up pace for a while, but it's just not developed into a fun slasher movie, despite having an otherwise good idea for Hodder's character.

Also, weirdest final girl ever? Initially she's shown as innocent and caring, good friend with her mother, grieving for her dead friend and so on. Then all of a sudden she decides to have a breast augmentation, blond her hair, buy expensive shoes and act like an *beep* Because she likes a boy. I don't know, I guess it was supposed to be funny, but it simply wasn't

All in all, a few decent moments, Kane Hodder and a nude scene of the movie's major bitch. The rest is a pretty forgetabble result of an inexperienced filmmaker's work.

I totally agree; its average. The boob job subplot was bizarre but my most hated part is when the kinda attractive mother happened to date the creepy, smelly, serial killer.

Fully agree on both of the points raised here.

Why is the slutty mom dating a hick auto-scrap dealer? I thought she was supposed to be the cougar dating some hot young studs in this whitetown.

And the boob subplot? Have a 30 second IM chat with a guy and then decide to become the b*tchy girl - the one who nobody likes because it's not the 80's anymore. Aside from the one scene where she talked to her sister why her sister was dating the hot boy, all the other evidence did not point to her having that sort of character shift. In one of the scenes right before she got it, she was talking to the cop and called the boys walking STDs. Total WTF.
