If I ever thought that this show was good, I would say that this was it's jump the shark moment.

Let's call it what it was -- zombie Jack Lord.

this show's budget must be ran by chimps...

i can't imagine why they'd pick such awfull cgi instead of getting a look a like actor in to do the job....

then again this is the same show that thought a low rent iron man rip off was a smart plot device....

Let's see, an Iron Man suit rip off that is taken down by a simple car accident and now an awful Jack Lord recreation which made no sense to the episode. I have been hoping for a Blue Bloods/Tom Selleck crossover episode but now think they would bungle it........

how do any of you think the jack lord lookalike was cgi? there are some people out there that can look like some one including actors. here are some examples on what I mea. in the movie mommie dearest they had Faye Dunaway fixed up to look like joan Crawford and she did. if you saw this it was on the news last week where some guy looked like matt damon. here is a short article about it with a picture of that persn but on the news it didn't say the picture was from 1961 but this link says that

The reason many of us are referencing the Jack Lord cameo as CGI is because it was. There are a number of articles that discuss this. Here's a link to just one.

The voice for zombie Jack Lord reminded me of actress Sofia Vergara sucking helium from a balloon on the Jimmy Kimmel show a few days ago.

Speaking of voices, a friend of mine watched a commercial which included Lenkov's other creation, MacGyver. She said the actor playing the other "Mac"* "reminds me of Neil Patrick Harris. Anyway, I was expecting him to have the voice of a youngish man. But when he speaks, he sounds like a 50 year old man with a baritone voice. It is sooo disturbing. I have no idea what he was saying because of his crazy voice. It's like he is lip syncing. There is no way I can watch the show because of the annoying mismatched voice. I'm trying to think of another actor like that. The only one that comes close is Meg Tilley. She has a weird baby girl voice."

* This was a joint commercial for MacGyver and Five-Zero, referring to "two Macs."

SusaRamsey919, what is wrong with your eyes and your dumb ol' girl brain? Only an idiot would NOT recognize that thing with the weird voice as CGI junk. Poorly done CGI at that.

susanramsey919: Any fool could see that was a poor CGI effort, one only need to look at the eyes and the mouth when they move .. it is a dead give away .. even my dogs could tell it was a crummy CGI head.

i have a friend who sister lives in Hawaii and some times is used as an extra but she also told me she knew the guy that was in the chapel and is an employee of the hospital where mcgarrett was a patient. he works in housekeeping or janitorial. my friend said she has seen him a few times when she visited her sister there.

That guy your friend knows was a standin for the body movements, but they used CGI to change his face to look more like Jack Lord.

I honestly thought, for a second, I was seeing something wrong. Wow...that CGI looked like he escaped from some animated movie. Very bad.
