No preview?

I suppose there's really no point in starting a new topic with the message board shutdown looming, but I guess if I think anyone might reply to this to answer my question, it's pretty short-term, so...

Anyway, just wondering if anyone knew why there was no preview for next week's episode at the end of Friday night's? There was just a 5-second or so promo that said "Watch a new episode of Hawaii Five-0," or whatever, with a pic of McGarrett and Danny. Then it was a preview for the next episode of Scorpion. I know I can probably find any preview for a show online, but personally I like the quick 30-second preview of the next ep.

I have heard more than once in recent years that CBS doesn't have a lot of confidence in H50, and towards the end of (it seems) just about every season, rumors circulate that it won't be renewed for another season, yet it still does (trust me, I'm not complaining; I'm glad it gets renewed). So maybe the lack of a preview is a sign of the beginning of the end for the show; CBS might have decided it's not worth it to have the preview anymore: If the show is coming to an end, they may figure if nobody's going to watch, why have a preview? I haven't heard anything either way; this is all speculation on my part.

So, if anyone has heard anything, the info is greatly appreciated...

I don't know why there was no preview on Friday, but there was a voice-over saying 'catch a new episode of Hawaii Five-O next week' while the end credits were running.
Anyway, SpoilerTV.com has photos and synopses for the next two episodes.I think the show is safe for another season.

I'm not sure why there was not a preview for Friday's episodes of Hawaii Five-0 or MacGyver but it is definitely not because of a lack of love for the show. I saw this on facebook today: http://www.latimes.com/business/hollywood/la-fi-ct-cbs-friday-night-20170206-story.html The 3.5 million per episode is just international with other syndication money added in it is easily bringing in over 5 million per episode without any advertising money. Everyone is actually more confident of renewal this season than they have been of recent past seasons.

When there's more than one week between shows, they often don't show previews. We're at that time of year when networks begin to space their shows in order to make new content last until May. March madness may take care of some of that stretch, but not all.

Personally, I hate the previews... I know I'm going to be watching the show! I don't need to get spoiled for everything that's going to happen the next episode.
My assumption is that they are trying to build up the hype for other shows that they think need a boost in ratings.

Elisabeth Rohm will guest star next week as serial killer Dr. Madison Gray. They might have wanted it to be a surprise, but because of TV Guide and so forth most people do know that already.
