The Paul Reiser show lasted all of 2 episodes... bad writing, no supporting cast chemistry, boring premise and no interesting characters, shoud've just rebooted Mad About You.

I gave this a shot cos I've always liked Paul Reiser... at his best he's a cross between Larry David and Don Adams, I think he could have been far more successful if he challenged himself more with screwball comedy.

boring premise

exactly. the jim gaffigan show is almost suffering the same thing (for me) except I find the jokes to be actually funny. unfortunately, i only got halfway through the first season and yup got bored.
