Thanks for your comments. I read your article and that was very good. I liked how you commented on how Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent came to be, which is something we just take for granted now. Like any great timeless characters, you just don't make this stuff up without some background.

And, as a kid, I also thought the Batman TV show was real and not 100% for camp. I still don't believe it was meant to be 100% camp, but obviously it had camp elements. It was a reflection of its time (the sixties), but also the fact that the Batman tv show was decades after his early dark origin and years before his dark knight rebirth with Adamms/Apracio/Giordano and the like.

Again, great article.

Thank you for your comments. You bring up a very good point -- that the Batman TV show was a reflection of its time and hence different than the dark beginning or dark rebirth. And we who watched in in the sixties growing up didn't see it as camp and did take it for real. I guess my problem is that people who label things camp do so with a denegrating assessment and I loved that show growing up. I may not be the biggest comic book fan around or an expert on animation or anything, but I do feel that comic books and animation are awesome, legitimate media and deserve to be respected. Thanks for your thoughts, they are most welcome.
