pasties in the shower?

Kate (played by tuppence middleton who is perfect looking through btw) during her shower scene at the end is clearly wearing pasties on her nipples even tho she shows them earlier in the film, anyone else notice this?

reply

As far as I could see she wasn't munching on any meat products whilst showering.

yeah i thought that was weird too but maybe that shower scene was shot before the sex scene and the director was able to convince her to take go fully topless for the latter but then never went back to reshoot the former (either due to budget reasons or something else). or maybe the shower segment that was cut into the final edit wasn't supposed to be there? as in, that particular angle....maybe they couldn't find a better shot and had to use it? i dunno....it does seem like a goof though (as opposed to a shift in character).

I didn't notice the pasties in the shower. But maybe ol' Kate was just feeling less slutty that day..

I noticed this too.
I can think of several reasons for this, but as I'm not part of the production in any way all I can do is speculate.

1) Perhaps the scene was meant to be included into the trailer. Some countries have rules of what kind of nudity is allowed in the trailers so it could make it easier for the marketing. Then again I cannot see why this scene must be included in the trailer any way. It's mainly an action and suspense triller.

2) The scene might have been supposed to crop in a way that the pasties wouldn't be visible. But than in post production the scene was left as it is. Perhaps because of not having enough time and money for the edits. The actress probably wanted the pasties as there are many other people around in sets that being naked feels odd.

Probably someone should have noticed and made some changes. Or at least to me it seemed that the pasteis made the film look a rather silly. Also the whole scene is so unnecessary for the film I cannot even think of the reason why it's there. Does the director or producer (or someone?) have a clause in their contract that the film must include a shower scene?
