Is the film in english version

Being such an international character, and seeing that the title is Asterix in Britain and has lot of english speaking characters, it would be a shame if this film's producers did not do an english version for the international market where Asterix is yet popular eg, UK, India,Singapore

Or at least make sure the R1 dvd has english subtitles, unlike the first two films. Sigh...

I just saw a few minutes of this film on a website and it looked very good. Was going to carry on watching it but wondered if I could get a blu-ray version dubbed in English rather than just watching the subtitles (the French get dubbed versions of our films so why can't we have this one dubbed to English?)

Would have carried on watching it and possibly bought the Blu-ray had there been an English dub on it but sadly no English dub is really disappointing as it's a bit annoying to try and read the subtitles all the time. I know a bit of French up to GCSE level and recognise some of the French, but to try and watch a film like this reading the subtitles all the time is just really annoying.

With the space available now on Blu-rays there really is no excuse for not dubbing movies into multiple languages, so people all around the world can enjoy the film in their own language, and especially with a character as big as Asterix, it's strange the Belgian's translated TinTin into English so the international community can enjoy it fully and yet the French have left Asterix in French.

Its actually geo-blocking what they are doing with the Blu-ray's, when they world wide, or even within the same region, does not contain the same audio tracks and subtitles.
The reason are all the different release dates of each country and that is something that most likely never will change.

You guys can even consider your selves lucky to find all the Asterix movies on Blu-ray. In the Scandinavian countries, they have not even bothered with a Blu-ray release of the first 3 movies.
