Three-part interview with Mike Wolfe

Just discovered this...a long, three-part interview with Mike Wolfe, posted January 2013 on the Script magazine website. Here it is:

Part 1: http://www.scriptmag.com/features/balls-of-steel-american-pickers-to-t v-with-show-creator-mike-wolfe

Part 2: http://www.scriptmag.com/features/balls-of-steel-american-pickers-road -to-tv-with-show-creator-mike-wolfe-part-2

Part 3: http://www.scriptmag.com/features/balls-of-steel-american-pickers-road -to-tv-show-creator-mike-wolfe-part-3

In part 1 he goes over how hard it was to sell the show. In part 2 he delivers details on the filming -- and you won't be surprised to learn that the LeClaire "Antique Archeology" store is indeed a set!! In part 3 he reveals his plans for a bunch of horrible-sounding reality shows, as well as an even worse attempt at a sitcom (which he refers to as like a modern Sandford & Son, which is just what the world needs).

Loved it - thanks for that, perfectpawn; it's always interesting to get a look at the behind-the-scenes working of a show. Amazing to see how far Mike has taken the concept :)

IMDB's ignore user button = priceless :)

I find it kind of sad American Pickers was just a show all along! Nothing is real then, including the shop. It now makes sense why the items Mike and Frank picked are at the Antique Archaeology shop as 'Not for Sale'. I still like American Pickers even though its not real!
