Why are the people so happy at the end of the shows?

Why are the people so happy at the end of American Pickers show when Mike and Frank leave? They just lost tons of potential profit, they should be pissed off and shooting at Mike and Frank's van with a shot gun!

You still don't get it ???

Not only are the picks scripted and staged, but most of these people are hoarders who would never have moved a piece of junk till they died.

Is it better to hoard all your stuff, because you think you could get more for it -- and never unload it? Or, take what the guys offer you, and let THEM dig it out of the dirt and cart it away. You don't even have to get your hands dirty.

They didn't lose anything; they gained. Whatever these hoarders make, it's more than they had before. That's why they're happy.

And even MORE DENSE are people who can't read. Where did I or the OP say they "hated" the show?

You know, Michelle, you're very annoying. Do you work at it, or does it just come naturally to you? Your "superior attitude" sucks.

You're constantly an apologist for his dreck and you take it as a personal affront if anyone says anything YOU consider negative. That says a lot about YOUR intelligence, sister.

You CONSTANTLY fire the first shot, then you're shocked and offended that people retaliate. There's really IS something wrong with you. A real "Princess" you are.

Do me a favor: Put me on "ignore." That seems to be your solution for everything -- to stick you head up your ass.

As if being "put on ignore" somehow hurts someone!

BEST POST EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I agree with everything you said about MiSHILLe 

I add my take on her... she's a gamer, these Boards are just another game to her, her whole purpose is to take topics off topic, deflect, agitate, annoy, disrupt, stir up trouble and start circle jerk arguments about these garbage shows... then she and her fellow gamers sit back and laugh at the responses... she's here to push buttons.

She only jumps on negative threads with her usual "Don't watch" bullspit.. I don't think she's ever started a "positive thread" of her own on any Board... then she thinks she's hurting the feelings of other posters by putting them on "Ignore"... only to continue to take cheap shots from the sideline.. while saying, "blah blah, I can't hear you", I'm sticking my fingers in my ears like a 7 year old spoiled brat.....

I'd say it comes to her naturally.... much like a POS 
