I was on a cross country trip and stopped at a dennys to fill up on cheap menu items. I noticed a small gathering of people surrounding what turned out to be mike and frank.
nice guys, they signed autographs and shook hands. When the people left, they sat next to each other and fed each other sausages and bacon. Guess that answers everyone's question......
Why do they have a curtain that separates the front seats from the back of the van? Why do they need that measure of privacy? Also, there are no side windows in the back of the van. What are the pickers doing in the van that they don't want others to see?

I have watched the program for some time and have never given a thought to the curtain or the van having no windows. I think the fact that this occured to you shows what your mindset is. Sounds like you may have a little fantasy going on.

It's a standard panel van for freight, not passengers.
Few working vans have "side windows". And often there is indeed some kind of separation between the front seats and the cargo area. Not sure they only have a curtain, because that won't save them from shifting cargo, but that is the point: to have protection from your cargo.
There's a few more of us... and even the 50,000 Nielsen TV Viewers are getting tired of the garbage the Cable Channels keep churning out... fewer and fewer "Reality" shows make the "Cable TV top 100 List"... reruns of FAMILY GUY, BIG BANG and ADULT SWIM programming dominate the list.
VERIZON FIOS has taken the first step toward "ala carte service"... viewer picks bundles of channels... problem is bundles include the garbage channels along with the good channels... hopefully they work out the bugs, and give the viewer a pick of the individual channels... say Basic 25... if you want to watch something not in your channel picks.. watch the channel on a pay per view basis....
NatGeo is sliding quickly into the cesspool of garbage programming... more and more "Reality" being added. Check out the TEXAS RISING board... so many people expecting this to be a historically accurate program... such a shame.
If you deflect the topic of the thread from the show to me, our discussion is over

I've been seeing those TV ads and hoping that everyone follows suit.
I have "Optimum" and am happy with the service; no desire to change. But, how many golf channels, cooking channels, sports channels, and Spanish channels do I have, that I never look at?
I've been hoping for "ala carte service" for years. What we have now is senseless.
Gubbio.. yes, hopefully the others will, and I'm sure they will.. because the big two... A&E/HISTORY and DISCOVERY/TLC really have turned Cable TV into one steaming cesspool of garbage.
Maybe the programming on the big two would be easier to accept, if they offered a changing variety... like the Broadcast Channels.. air their mega hit "Reality" one day a week.. and stop the all day crapathons of the same program day after day.
The next best thing to ala carte service would be "free service"... the slime ball Cable Channels pay the service providers to air their garbage programing.. and the viewers pay nothing...

The only time he posts on this board and other garbage show boards is to stir up trouble, attack other posters, and start arguments.
You call my little post an "attack"? I'm like the old sportscaster, Howard Cosell. I call 'em like I see 'em. I'll leave for now so you and your aliases can return to patting each other on the back. Check ya later.
