Mucca Mad Boys, parody of Bra Boys

As I was watching the segments with Blake and the Mucca Mad Boys all i could think of was Bra Boys. Do you think they were a direct rip on them or surf gangs in general. The only reason I equated them to the Bra Boys was because of the similarities.

They had the thing about the tattoos, the hand shake, the fight outisde the pub, the home break, Ours. Almost every thing the Mucca Bad Boys had was taken right from the Bra Boys doc.
