Some Answers Please?

So Jennet was the biological mother of the boy that died (Nathaniel).

Do we know why her son was adopted by her sister?
Do we know how Jennet died?
Who was the old woman who died and left the house?
If it was Jennets Sister (Nathaniels adoptive Mum), then how come she lived that long without being haunted to death?
If she was old, presumably Nathaniels death was about 30/40 years ago, so why do the child deaths seem to have happened in the last 15-20 years?
Why weren't the previous generation picked off by the WIB too?

Do we know why her son was adopted by her sister? Because Jennet had him out of wedlock.
Do we know how Jennet died? She committed suicide in the nursery after she saw Nathaniel die out of her bedroom window.
Who was the old woman who died and left the house? This was Alice Drablow, Jennet's sister.
If it was Jennets Sister (Nathaniel's adoptive Mum), then how come she lived that long without being haunted to death? She was haunted. Remember, she scrawled, "She will haunt me to the grave" on that piece of paper. In an earlier script for the movie, it was stated that she fled Eel Marsh and moved to India, where she lived till she died.
If she was old, presumably Nathaniel's death was about 30/40 years ago, so why do the child deaths seem to have happened in the last 15-20 years? I don't see how it seemed to have. It was stated that he died in 1879 and the movie took place circa 1910.
Why weren't the previous generation picked off by the WIB too? They probably were. It never gets into that.
