The ending was bittersweet
Yes the protagonist and his son died in the end but they go with his wife in paradise and his son was not taken by the woman in black. what do you think?
shareI would have to say the ending was bittersweet. I was sad when I watch the kid walking towards the train, & I rooted for his father's and throw him out of the way of danger. but I am so glad that that didn't happen and it ended the way it did. I think it was one of the best ghost stories I've seen in a very long time! it reminds me of The Changeling with glenn Scott... my favorite of all time.
