Seriously, wtf is wrong with the writers? Do they think black guys have no taste at all? I'm sorry but after dating Alice (who is hot) and Marti (who is also hot), I have a very hard time believing that Lewis would be "slumming" (as Alice put it) with Nasty Cathy.
I understand that Alice is a bitch and Marti was a tramp slut who cheated on him, so a change of direction would have been due but come on! They could have introduced a cute distraction or one of the other cheerleaders who have minor roles. Nasty Cathy's not in his league. I don't believe he would have dated her.

Except when it came to his dad. He didn't care about dancing with Alice, he wanted to win that car for his father to help him. She wasn't understanding about that. If she really cared about him, she could have told Lewis that fine dance with Alice, but remember to come back to me. He would have been okay with that. Instead she disrespected his dad by saying "screw your dad!".

duh....up until that point she was good to him.

however, she was more provoke and emotional like any other female i know. he should understand that and normal people would try to work it out. but it's tv, and they needed a quick scapegoat to write her off and start lewis and alice all over again.

Duh to you too. What was my 1st word in my post? It was "except". I didn't say that she was never good to him. I said that she was wrong for the dad thing. And you said that normal people work it out because some women get emotional. That went past being emotional. She was being selfish. She knew that winning that contest for Lewis meant that he would be able to help his father. And Lewis said that they were never boyfriend & girlfriend anyway. Judging by what happened tonight, he dodged a bullet.

Yep, turns out nasty Kathy was nasty, crazy Kathy. I don't know what backwoods towns some of you live in to deem Cathy beautiful but that chick is a dud. She's a plain Jane if I've ever seen one.
I don't know what it is about western society these days to try to grade attractiveness on a curve. Women like Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Anniston are PLAIN JANES. There's nothing wrong with being plain but trying to get the rest of the world to pretend they are beautiful is delusional.
Kathy was a plain Jane. Lewis was a star athlete before he was a cheerleader and he was smart and regardless to what the internet geek squad believes, in the real world, pretty is pretty and both Alica and Marti were heads and shoulders above nasty Kathy in terms of looks.
She was plain.
She was spiteful.
She was vindictive.
She was insensitive about his father.
She locked him in the freakin' bathroom.
He dodged a bullet with her.

I think they fit. She was pretty and had a nice body and she seemed to have a good head on her shoulders.

Cathy is more naturally pretty than Marti (seriously, looks like a silicone sex doll that creepy old folk buy on the internet, looks very unnatural, may be the inch thick make up), although neither of them are anything to write home about. Lewis isn't particularly attractive either though, without his body no one would bother looking at him since his face isn't all that attractive...clearly isn't a Tyson Beckford. So that all being said, it's a fairly even match.
