CW sucks

I used to love all CW teen soaps, but they keep cancelling everything, letting fans down, often without giving the show a proper end, just a cliffhanger. I don't think I'll start watching another CW show until they learn how to promote a show and save it from being cancelled.

I don't think CW caused the writing to go sharply downhill at some point, which then caused the ratings to also do the same. The first half of the season had good ratings, well above what would be needed for renewal.

I'll give you that CW doesn't always promote a show properly, I'm still pissed about Privileged, but you cannot blame CW for Hellcats' downfall.

Actually, you can blame CW for Hellcats downfall. They didn't promote the day and time change like they should have. The show did great on its original night, took a nosedive after it changed days. The writing remained the same, you can't blame it on that. You can blame it directly on lack of promotion by CW.

The CW gets rid of anything which is remotely relatable to teens.

So many shows today portray teens as bitchy, rich little snobs with no jobs and no real friends.

In reality, many teens relate more to shows like Life Expected, Hellcats and even One Tree Hill and The Vampire Diaries because they are interesting and a different view on the teenage experience.

If The WB had stayed around, I'm sure teen TV would be different today - and better.

ABC Family is also bad about this. I loved Bunheads which also got cancelled on a cliffhanger, as did the Pretty Little Liars spin-off (can't remember the show name).
