Did anyone find the paintball scene sexy?

Now I'll preface that Tuck's motivations for it all were pretty retarded (i.e. making her think he's not "safe"), but at the same time his physicallity and stunt-work in that scene were mighty fine. Probably the only action scene I liked in the whole movie.

Yes. Totally. Absolutely. Big time. Hands down. Unbelievably so.

It was a beautiful and artistic way to demonstrate physical prowess, strength, agility, and control on a base level.

On other levels, it was just so incredibly cool to watch. Gold star and bonus points.

I loved the paintball scene. I laughed so hard especially with the kids in the bunker. Too bad for her character that she didn't pick him. Just FYI, I'm a woman.

Oh god it was amazing. Tom Hardy is amazinggggg.

I also loved the paintball scene (Hardy is so sexy) and when he mocks FDR for his teeny, tiny baby hands! I have to watch it again to see how it's worded, ridiculous but fun movie (I like the actors which helps)

reply

Hell yes. Tom Hardy is super sexy, especially with a gun.

Totally agree--but to be fair, he looked incredible throughout the whole movie. It was very distracting, but in the best way! ;)

The paintball scene was hilarious. Sexy? No, because it was as over the top as the introductionary action scene. Only that this time he wasn't fighting crime, he was playing paintball with regular people that just wanted to have a fine time. But the first thing he does is knocking someone out! Martial arts in paintball!? And then he uses a hand grenade to take out a bunch of scared kids that huddled up in a bunker. Good thing the paint was blue and not red ...

I think his motive to be "not safe" was spot on. The Witherspoon character stated that he felt safe. A lot of women go after the "bad boy" forsaking the nice guy all the time. That's why its a well-worn trope. That primal instict to seek protection, capability, blah, blah.

I still think that scene was hilarious and I mean side splitting hilarious for me.

Daddy! He's killed Steve and he's jamming the door with him!

Sexy? Maybe if you were 12 years old. And a boy. And gay. The scene was pretty silly.

I also liked the the "house bugging" scene, where Tuck and FDR are placing bugs all over her apt while she dances around, oblivious. Tuck's movements were SOOOO sexy, slinking around like that!

She definitely chose wrong. But seeing as how at the end, Tuck sort of gets back together with his wife, it kind of left her with no other choice. Maybe her character wasn't ready to have kids yet, and Tuck had a 7-yr-old...
