shareOne shown in the movie is a cheap Chinese made magnetic pocket chess set that you can find on eBay. In actuality I even doubt they existed at the time period in the film. Fuscher had a peg pocket chess set. Every piece had a peg and the board had holes to stick them in.

I've read in several places that Fischer and Larry Evans picked up some nice leather chess wallets during some Latin American tour. These things have 64 flat pockets for the chessboard, and flat plastic pieces the base of which goes into the pocket. The unfolded wallet resembles a chessboard diagram from a book. Evans said that both Fischer and he carried theirs around to analyze upon until they were quite worn out.
I wanted to get one like that, but never ran across one.

This really confused me watching the film.. I'm too used to seeing people on iPads it took me a while to figure out what he was using!!
