Can't stand the new mayor

Lorraine Bracco just rubs me the wrong way. She's a terrible actor. I've never enjoyed her in anything.

reply

Agreed! I can't stand the way she speaks.

reply

I was thinking the same way! Has Lorraine Bracco always talked in that gravelly, marbled mouth, layered thick New York accent!?

reply

Lorranie Bracco basically talks like Daphne Zuniga if she was from the Bronx and smoked two packs of cigarettes a day.

reply

I'm not really fond of the acting mayor either but have no problem with the actress. The mayor is way too pushy for someone who is not in the job permanently. Good managers will sit back and see how things are going. She just starts making changes because she has the power to do so. I hope she does not get elected.

reply

Horrible character.

reply

Yeah.....she's really awful. I'd like for the new mayor to be....someone who is sometimes RIGHT. You know, Frank being put at a moral or logical disadvantage once in a while.

reply

Agreed I think she is terrible, I hated her in Rizzoli & Isles and I don't think any performance she did subsequent would ever relieve me of that horrible memory.

Why Hollywood won't cast Lorraine Bracco anymore

reply

I don't mind her at all. She is from New York, probably from the Bronx and speaks with a Bronx accent.

reply

She seems to like any refinement. She was good looking and I guess could deliver her lines, but she doesn't seem to have any thoughtfulness to her. She's just an average broad leveraging her popularity as long as she can.
