Just on the basis of the promos, what's your interest level in watching?

I'll most likely pass.

It motivated me to change the channel to briefly see what else was on at the time. I didn't get the gist of the storyline but it looked like another contrived story about good looking, boring, white yuppies who were all friends with each other. Did I see an Asian chick/White guy coupling as well? Yeah, it's a snore fest.

Yeah, I definitely think that today's 20-somethings are a bit different than Generation X, heck even today's Gen X is different than they were.

I never liked "Friends", but I have friends and colleagues who do, and to this day still watch it with a sort longing for the past. As for "Perfect Couples", I think they did a poor job with the casting since everyone looks generically perfect. Contrast that to "Friends" where you had two goofy guys and and a really goofy girl. Even though I think the premise of Friends is ridiculous (low-wage earning singles living in Manhattan) the show worked for audiences because the actors had chemistry.

I watched it. It didn't make a great first impression, but I do see a grain of potential in there. Everything was pretty predictable. The living on Rome timee storyline was dumb. I did like the edge to the characters... so if they build on that, I think it has a chance. I think it needs to loosen up, or slow down.

based on the promos, I would conclude that either they didn't have enough funny to spare for the promo or it just isn't funny. What I do know is that Olivia Munn is not naturally funny. Her acting seems stiff and 1 dimensional. I am hard pressed to remember anyone else from the show, and I actually did watch it. It was nothing new. These couples sitcoms always tank. I mean, who fckin cares about these awful people.

Pass.
