this show was quite decent

just rewatched the pilot online (perfect tens) and it wasn't half bad, so i was surprised to find many on here were describing how bad the show was. I actually thought elements of it as an ensemble comedy worked,
and i've always liked ensemble comedies. But PC lasted for half a season - as did the american version of coupling, which was also far worse. Anyway, i just thought this show deserved a full season, but realized it got canceled because of its very low ratings. although, its quite ironic that the show that replaced this - the paul reiser show - also got much lower rating and worse reviews.
So that leads up to my question of why this show got such low ratings - was it because it was bad... maybe... but i didn't think it was bad and as i've pointed out, there were much worse shows that ran longer.. was it due to the fact that it was a mid-season replacement and didn't get much marketing/advertisement.. or was it due to the fact that this was an nbc show to begin with, because i always thought that nbc tried to cater more to young, single viewers so a show about couples doesn't seem to fit that model... perhaps the show would have fared better on cbs or abc, anyway just wondering...

It was. I've actually been missing it lately, with almost all of the leads showing up on shows I watch (two of them recurring on Go On, 3 with multiple episodes of New Girl). And Kyle apparently has a new midseason replacement sitcom on the way (better luck this time, buddy).

I wish Perfect Couples were available on DVD. It used to be that a show had to last multiple seasons for that, but they put almost everything out these days, so why not PC?
