this show was quite decent
just rewatched the pilot online (perfect tens) and it wasn't half bad, so i was surprised to find many on here were describing how bad the show was. I actually thought elements of it as an ensemble comedy worked,
and i've always liked ensemble comedies. But PC lasted for half a season - as did the american version of coupling, which was also far worse. Anyway, i just thought this show deserved a full season, but realized it got canceled because of its very low ratings. although, its quite ironic that the show that replaced this - the paul reiser show - also got much lower rating and worse reviews.
So that leads up to my question of why this show got such low ratings - was it because it was bad... maybe... but i didn't think it was bad and as i've pointed out, there were much worse shows that ran longer.. was it due to the fact that it was a mid-season replacement and didn't get much marketing/advertisement.. or was it due to the fact that this was an nbc show to begin with, because i always thought that nbc tried to cater more to young, single viewers so a show about couples doesn't seem to fit that model... perhaps the show would have fared better on cbs or abc, anyway just wondering...
