It's too bad that this show got cancelled

I thought it was very funny. Another show my wife and I started watching that got the ax...

I actually loved this show and never understood why they canceled it after one season. Great cast and witty writers. Maybe it was the time slot. It's certainly funnier than most of the comedies shows on TV particularly about couples. It was on Netflix for a while and now I can't find it. My daughter and I love watching it every now and then when we get together. We love quoting a lot of the funny lines.

Rex "who wants to get wasted?"
Leigh "Alcoholics, Rex,that's who."

Honestly, I loved everything about this show except Kyle Bornheimer. I just don't think he's funny. And there was a span when he had (and killed) a few shows that probably could have worked without him.
