Come on 4.0 seriously people, it's better than that

The acting was all well done as was the pace and it truly had some good tension at times, the green shirted guy's role was over the top yes but that was crucial to get Bill to act the way he needed to act in the later confrontation, it's really low budget but they used every dollar carefully imho.

I know the actual rating is 6.1(arithmetic mean) so I guess it is the fault of the IMDB, I know their system works in almost all cases but sometimes a film gets caught in their weighted demographic

I would like to see it at least 5/10

A generous 6/10 from me............camera work was too shakey in parts, but a great film....and a believable villain.
I would have given it 7/10 if the skanky barmaid did a topless scene.........she WAS stacked!

ANOTHER excellent horror that got a low rating was the EXCELLENT Urban Explorers

reply

Both Urban Explorers and Devil's Bridge end the exact same way. No one survives. The guy is the last to get killed in both movies. It would be nice to have a *beep* horror movie these days where a guy survives. If you don't have a pair of tits you get killed most of the time. Horror movies have two endings that are over used now. The final girl cliche and the one where they all get killed. When will they start using the ending where a guy survives alone. It would be nice to see that sort of ending once in a while.

I'm starting to expect that they will all die right from the start of horror films. It's has been a trend lately & you are correct when one does survive it's always the girl.

i am watching it now and i can't stand the camera. it's just so obnoxious i'm having a very hard time caring about the movie. they didn't have a tripod in their budget?

Were some of the running around at night shots actually filmed during the day and then tinted grey? It looked (quite obviously) like that to me...

I found that quite distracting.

some of the effects and props were pretty impressive for the budget they had, i actually met Chris Crow a few weeks ago and he and I had a talk about movies, i asked him about the budget and was stunned, this is a guy who can be trusted to use money wisely, good for you for liking it.

4/10 here...and I was a bit generous.
