Bored with most Malick movies... but not this one.

It’s an aesthetic delight. To date it’s the film that defines Malick.

That sums up how I felt after seeing The New World. I rode home with the window down and the radio off and felt like I was floating. Then I had the best night's sleep I'd had in years. I probably would've felt the same about To The Wonder if I could've seen it in the theater instead of on the laptop. I still enjoyed it, though.
