Voice acting

One of the manifold aspects that make this movie one giant steaming cinematic turd is the abysmal voice acting - talk about "'phoning it in"!

In fact I was all set to make a post saying that I now understood why Hollywood pays big money for big names to voice animated features, as I'd assumed the dismal and bland vocals were the work of inexperienced unknowns.

I could barely believe that an actor of the calibre of Bill Nighy would be capable of such listless and unengaging work. I would have asked to have my name removed from the credits were I he - after all, no-one is likely to recognise him, at the most they'd think it was a cheap Nighy knockoff, in keeping with the shoddy production values of the movie in general.

"You've got lovely eyes Dee-Dee, never noticed them before, are they real?"
